Having worked with clients from Jody Kidd, Charlotte Church and the Manic Street Preachers to Vogue, Elle and Cosmopolitan, Ken approached Whisper to create a cool, sophisticated and contemporary brand identity to position the salon as one of the UK's leading independent salons.

Ken Picton Salon has been an online pioneer in the hairdressing industry his enthusiasm and appreciation for embracing technology has led to an industry shake-up in the UK and has seen his salon become the first salon in the UK to introduce online appointment booking.
Along with the new public website and staff intranet, Whisper has developed an online professionals extranet area, where seminar notes, presentations and showreels can be accessed and downloaded behind a password protected area.
Ken adds: “Using technology has streamlined the whole process of running a salon. Having a system in place where your customers can book online is now essential to us with over 30% of all bookings coming through the website.”
He continues: “Having the capability of being able to send SMS or email reminders to our customers has also reduced the number of late or forgotten appointments by 60%.”
